Orange County CA Home Buyers Continued to Push Prices Up During June 2013
Orange County CA home selling markets continued to be aggressive with buyers during June 2013. Median home selling price for all homes (single family detached, condo, and new homes) during June 2013 was $545,000 – which was up 20.3 percent as compared with last year June 2012.
Number of Orange County home sales at 3,350 units during June 2013 was about the same as last year June 2012.
Single family detached homes at Orange County had median home resale price up 16.5 percent in June 2013 – to $661,740 – which was more than $93,000 above one year ago for June 2012 (according to California Association of Realtors).
With seriously increased number of homes now listed for sale at Orange County, and about the same demand for housing, we don’t expect such strong price increases to continue – which will be better for market balance to favor both sellers and buyers.
